Domestic Violence Services

Family Services believes in a holistic approach to serving families affected by domestic violence and are committed to providing treatment to individuals impacted by domestic violence on all levels, so that the entire family may have an opportunity to heal from abuse.

Crisis Hotline – our domestic violence crisis hotline (559-732-5941) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Family Services’ crisis counselors can simply listen or they can provide callers with information about how to connect to resources including shelters, legal assistance, support groups, and counseling. Hotline counselors also provide education about domestic violence and help victims to create a safety plan.

Emergency Shelter – our emergency shelter, “Karen’s House,” offers women and their children confidential shelter, meals, and services at no charge while they work to reestablish their lives in a supportive environment.

If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please contact our hotline at 559-732-5941.
