Current full-time opportunities:

Marriage, Family, Child Therapist
Family Services currently has several Therapist positions open. The positions require a Master’s Degree from an accredited social work, counseling, or psychology program with emphasis on clinical practice. Proof of licensure as an LCSW, MFCC, or of registered intern status is required. Successful completion of graduate field placement is required. Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish) is preferred. Therapists maybe stationed in Family Resource Centers throughout Tulare County. These positions are full-time (40 hours/week) with benefits. Hourly rate for registered interns: $20-$21.82/hour based on experience. Salary for Licensed Therapist: $22.83/hour ($3,956.33/month). Download job description.

Bilingual Legal Advocate
Family Services has an immediate opening for a bilingual Legal Advocate in our Domestic Violence Program. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week, position with benefits. Paralegal certification preferred; Associate of Arts in Social Science or equivalent combination of education and experience required. One year experience in paralegal, counseling, or domestic violence response services preferred. Rate of pay: $13.05-$13.71/hour based on experience and possession of paralegal certificate. Group Facilitator- Anger Management
This is a part-time (8-16 hours/week) position in the Violence and Abuse Intervention Program to lead Anger Management groups in a jail setting. $13.05/hour (pre 40-hour training). $14.39/hour (post 40-hour training). Download job description.

Group Facilitator- Batterers’ Intervention
This is a part-time (8-16 hours/week) position in the Violence and Abuse Intervention Program to lead Batterers’ Intervention groups in a jail setting. $13.05/hour (pre 40-hour training). $14.39/hour (post 40-hour training). Download job description.

Visit Supervisor
Supervises visits between non-custodial parent and child(ren). There is a need for Visit Supervisors in the Porterville/Lindsay area as well as in Visalia and Tulare.  Those from the Porterville/Lindsay area are encouraged to apply.  Must be 21 years of age and have the ability to write clearly in English. Parent Educator
Facilitates short-term parenting development groups utilizing a variety of evidence-based or otherwise established adult learning curricula and educational material. Background clearance from the Department of Justice Fingerprint Database is required.  Download job description.

Crisis Relief Staff
Provides night, weekend and holiday coverage at Karen’s House (battered women’s shelter). Must complete required 40 hour training. Background clearance from the Department of Justice Fingerprint Database is required.  Download job description.
